Perfect delivery of Ropax ALA 'Suinu

On Feb. 7, 2024, the 10th high-end Ropax of E-Flexer series for Stena RoRo, "ALA 'Suinu" (Hull No. W0279) built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Weihai) Co., Ltd, was delivered 19 days ahead of schedule.

Mr. Per Westling, CEO of Stena RoRo, Mr. Murray Hupman, President of MAI, Mr. Peteersen Oyvind, Vice President of DNV Classification Society, Mr. Zheng Hehui, General Manager of CMJL(Weihai), witnessed the signing ceremony and delivered speeches through live or video broadcast.

ALA'SUINU has a total length of 202.9 meters, a width of 27.8 meters, a design draft of 6.6 meters, a service speed of 23 knots, and a line length of 3047.5 meters, which can be used to loads such as cars and trucks. With a capacity of 1,000 passengers, the ship is equipped with 146 cabins and 486 sets of luxurious deck chairs, and with a nice pubulic area such as bars, lounges, shops, children's playrooms, pet rooms, sun decks, etc..The area adopts the latest accessibility standards to greatly enhance the passenger experience.

Nantong Haijing, as a partner of R&M MIT, a famous interior contractor, is responsible for the interior construction of the public area of deck 8 and total 4 main stairways. At the same time, this ship is also the 11th high-end passenger roll ship cooperated by Haijing and RM MIT. Haijing has won recognition from R&M, shipyard and shipowner by its professional performance and excellent project management.
