The 13,000 DWT Duplex Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker Successfully Launched

June 18, 2026 – The launching ceremony for Vessel N-1061, a 13,000 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker, was held at Runbang Offshore in Qidong.

Following the high-end SPP40 small offshore vessel series previously undertaken by Nantong Haijing Ship Decoration Co., Ltd. for Runbang Offshore, this 13,000 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker marks the company’s second new series order, covering an initial batch of four vessels. The contract fully demonstrates Runbang Offshore’s trust in Haijing and represents the highest recognition of our operational and shipbuilding capabilities.

Compared to conventional chemical tankers, the 13,000 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker meets internationally top-tier standards in terms of technical specifications, performance requirements, and construction processes. The vessel has an overall length of 132 meters, a molded breadth of 21.8 meters, a molded depth of 11.2 meters, a design draft of 7.8 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 13,000 tons, a design speed of 14.5 knots, and a range of up to 12,000 nautical miles. It is capable of meeting the demands of long-term international voyages and can easily navigate major global ports and routes. The hull features a double-bottom, double-side structure and is equipped with a comprehensive ballast water system and anti-pollution equipment, significantly reducing the risk of chemical leakage while ensuring navigation safety and marine environmental protection.

In the subsequent construction phases, Haijing will strengthen close linkage and integrated coordination across all production links. We will optimize construction workflows to shorten the building cycle, adopt standardized assembly-line operations and refined site management to achieve fast and efficient shipbuilding. Strict control will be exercised over technical standards and construction quality to ensure the timely completion and delivery of all vessels in the series.
