On September 22, the China Merchants 7800 CEU methanol dual-fuel Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC), constructed by China Merchants Industry Haimen Base with full scope accommodation interior works undertaken by Nantong Haijing Ship Decoration CO., Ltd, successfully completed its sea trial. The successful trial not only verified the vessel’s green power performance and construction quality, but also fully demonstrated Nantong Haijing’s exquisite construction capability and refined delivery expertise in interior outfitting for high-end ocean-going PCTCs.

The 7800 CEU methanol dual-fuel PCTC is a new-generation green high-end ro-ro vessel catering to the global low-carbon shipping trend. Adopting methanol dual-fuel power configuration, the vessel features low emission, high energy efficiency and high reliability. It is designed for transoceanic transportation of finished vehicles. The vessel imposes stringent requirements on overall construction quality, cabin environment, interior workmanship and safety accessories, and sets particularly demanding standards for the refinement, standardization and safety of interior outfitting works.
